THE EAGLE HAS LANDED

Advertorial

BY ARSENIO TOTO BARCELONA

Four years ago, in an ASEAN agricultural exhibition at Bangkok, I saw for the first time the different models of drones designed to ease the work of farmers as well as get precise and timely information from the field with an “eagle’s eye.” This opened my inquisitive mind to research on the best supplier for the Philippine market. As always, I wrote down a checklist of my parameters for an “ideal” supplier to partner with. Best design backed up by professional aeronautic engineers, material engineers, agriculturists. Track record with several government and international awards or recognition. Prompt and honest service. Reliability in terms of sustained quality, pricing, spare parts supply, consistent technical support. Good vibes with the character of the owner and supplier’s focal person. After several communications, personal meetings and evaluation of specifications, I found Eagle Brother UAV Innovations as the best candidate. In September 2019, Harbest received its first shipment of three units M-12 and five units D-10. We branded our agricultural drones as Agila. The eagle had indeed landed.
