grown vegetables mean many things: naturally grown, synthetic chemical-free, safe, sustainable. Unfortunately, it can also mean other things: expensive and often inaccessible to small farmers and consumers on a tight budget. The Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) is hoping to change this.
