CRESTED MYNA

FEATHERED FRIENDS

Not all black Birds are Crows! You may see Crested Myna (Acridotheres cristatellus) hopping around on the ground and chatting with each other. You can easily distinguish them by a white wing patch that appears when they take flight or by the tuft of black feathers above their beak. These Birds have a wide variety of calls and can even mimic the sounds of other species!
