“Bring your animal companion to work” day

By Gabbie Abesamis

Working from home has become a new-normal standard. No longer do people have to commute or interact with coworkers on a daily basis. As long as they are equipped with a relatively stable internet connection, they can get the job done just as efficiently as they would in the office.

Because of the lack of social interaction, there has been a significant spike in animal adoption since 2020, perhaps in an attempt to ease the loneliness of being isolated at home.

However, as the pandemic reaches its end and face-to-face interaction is slowly making a return, pet owners are now faced with a predicament: Who will take care of their new animal friends while they’re away most of the day?

Enter an idea: An animal-friendly office.
