POTTED PLANTS

Most potted plants, such as crypts and Amazon sword plants, require very little maintenance because they grow more slowly than stem plants.

I have not tried growing amazon in floss substrate, but it’s in the pipeline together with Dwarf Sagittaria. They might be similar to Vallisneria plants, as they are expected to be maintained well but will have a difficult time propagating.

Cut tall plants and yellow leaves carefully. Some remove taller plant roots and leave the shorter ones.
