Dog rescued from powerful earthquake in Turkey

ADog was rescued from rubble in Hatay, Turkey on February 8 (Turkey time) after the earthquake that shook the countries of Turkey and Syria on February 6 (Turkey time).

In a video shared by Gurcan Ozturk on social media, the rescuers found the Dog named Pambuk with a bloody nose, trapped under a destroyed building. He was given some water while waiting to be pulled out.

According to Ozturk’s Instagram post, Pambuk’s family survived and were confined in a hospital. Pambuk is waiting to be reunited with his family.

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the southern part of Turkey and the northern part of Syria. It’s one of their most disastrous earthquakes in recent years. The death count is at around 30,000.
