Marriott’s “Mama’s Crockpot Special” (R3,700 nett) is good for three to four persons and comes with a Classic Slow Cooked Beef Roulade (1.5kg) in mushroom sauce served with chef crafted sides such as Fettuccini Pasta in Black Truffle Cream, Buttery Whipped Potatoes, and Sautéed Organic Vegetable Medley. This package comes with a Makeup Kit Cake made of chocolate moist, salted chocolate caramel ganache, chocolate butter cream, and fondant icing for the edible “makeup” decoration. This offer is available until 9 p.m. only for pickup or takeaway. A selection of special cakes is also on offer for the kikay mama. There’s a Makeup Kit Cake, which features edible makeup decoration and other personalized cakes for as low as R1,200.
