Minors with comorbidities in Manila get COVID-19 jabs

More than 1,000 minors with comorbidities, aged 12 to 17 years, in the city of Manila have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in just five days.

As of Tuesday, Oct. 26, a total of 1,372 minors with comorbidities have received their first dose of the vaccine since the rollout of the mass vaccination for minors started on Oct. 22.

The vaccination of minors was held in the city’s six district hospitals, namely, Sta. Ana Hospital, Ospital ng Maynila, Gat Andres Bonifacio, Justice Jose Abad Santos, Ospital ng Sampaloc, and Ospital ng Tondo.

The city government deployed 150 doses to each district hospital.

Parents can still register their children at the manilacovid19vaccine.ph website. They can add them under “family” or register them separately. (Andrea Kate Aro)
