Cagayan NPA medical officer nabbed in Tondo

A medical officer of the New People’s Army (MPA) in Cayayan was arrested Tuesday by operatives of the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO 2) in Tondo, Manila.

The suspect, alias “Ka May May”, 39, a platoon medical officer, was nabbed by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Francisco Donato of Regional Trial Court Branch 33 for violation of Republic Act 9851 with no recommended bail.

Ka May May, who belongs to Henry Abraham Command, East Front of the NPA, ranked 49th in the Top 10 most wanted persons in Cagayan Valley

She was nabbed by joint operatives of the Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) 2 and Provincial Intelligence Unit, Cagayan Police.

Police learned that she was recruited in 1999 by the NPA’s Renato Busante Group based in Quirino and Isabela.
