QC courier firm hub closed for disinfection

A courier and money remittance hub in Quezon City was ordered closed by the local government after 27 of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

City officials temporarily shut down on Wednesday the LBC Express Hub in Barangay Tandang Sora to give way to disinfection and sanitation of the establishment’s premises.

The local government said the establishment may only be able to continue its operations once it passes the evaluation after three days of disinfection.

The local government also called on those who visited the hub and the close contacts of positive patients to monitor themselves for possible symptoms and to coordinate with them.
