This is the hooded pitohui, and its poison can be found on its skin and feathers.

Beware, there are also poisonous fish.

Google says the most venomous known fish is the reef stonefish. It is an ambush predator that waits camouflaged on the bottom.

The beautiful and highly visible lionfish uses venomous barbs around its body as a defense against predators.

One look at a spread of poisonous fishes gives you this idea: They all look so beautiful, so photogenic in their multi-color appearances.

There is a type of water snake that looks like a dog.

They can be found in the Philippines andother southeast Asian countries.

These dog-like water snakes have strong upper jaw, prominent and round eyes. They also have dark spots and bars with gray, brown and olive colored backs.

The color of their bellies varies by gender.

Dog-faced water snakes can be found among shrubs, estuaries and mad flats. They can also survive in fresh and salt waters, although they prefer to live in dark, blackish waters.
