Wife, 68, kills husband, 70

A 70-year-old man died a er being hacked by his 68-yearold wife following a heated altercation inside their house in Barangay Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City, Negros Occidental on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Carlos Gallo of Barangay Rafaela Barrera.

Based on police investigation, the couple figured in a heated argument while they were having a drinking session.

When the victim fell asleep, his wife identified as Maria Gallo took a bladed weapon and allegedly hacked him. She then fled.

The victim was taken to Alfredo Marañon District Memorial Hospital in the city, but he later died due to loss of blood.
