Jealous man stabs partner to death

BACOLOD CITY – A jealous man stabbed his live-in partner to death allegaedly a er learning of the latter’s affair with a foreign chat mate at Purok 3, Barangay 2, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Monday.

Police identified the victim as Enelisa Petua, 30, of Barangay 2.

Police Maj. James Latayon, Sipalay City police chief, said the suspect identified as Jhondad Sase, 33, of Barangay 5, went to the victim’s boarding house to confront her about her alleged relationship with foreign chatmate.

When the victim chose her chat mate over the suspect, the latter got irked and stabbed her multiple times, according to the police.

Petua was an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who came home from Middle East about two months ago.

The couple has two children but they’re living separately.

The suspect was later arrested and will be facing appropriate charges.
