Violet Delights

Purple has reigned supreme over the past few months, especially after Pantone deemed “Very Peri” as the color of the year. Inspired by the color that’s also associated with passion, event stylist Julius Villamante of Amante Fleurs used varying shades of purple in his setup, which pays homage to Sicily, a place that exudes passion. Filled with a plethora of violet and white blooms, Amante Fleurs’ setup is reminiscent of an exuberant Sicilian flower garden in spring. Upon entry, guests are greeted by a dramatic violet floral arch at Summit Ridge Tagaytay’s Raintree Ballroom, where the setup is housed. A cluster of white roses, hydrangeas and purple flowers flank the arch, along with two topiary balls on top of white outdoor garden vases. Amante Fleurs erected an ornamental Italian balustrade in the backdrop, which doubles as the couple’s area. Complete with white Wisteria trees, floral bushes, lanterns, floor candles and artificial turf, the impressive setup also features a garden water fountain reminiscent of those in lush Italian gardens.
